Q: I have ideas for new advertising platforms for wireless handsets and PDAs that will really work in todays world and be accepted. My problem is who do I talk to about this? It is almost impossible, so it seems, to get through to some big companies like Google and Microsoft who are currently looking for and researching this field. Major players in the industry from around the world keep pursuing wireless advertising as the next big thing. I know the way to make it a reality so what do I do? Any help on this is much appreciated.

A: That’s a pretty broad question you posed and I don’t feel all that qualified to answer.

However, if it were me, I’d look for places on the web where these wireless advertising ideas and trends are discussed: maybe Technorati and Google blog search for blogs, and maybe Techcrunch to get a sense of entrepreneurial activity in the tech space, maybe to get a sense of how ideas get launched and funded. You can also try Guy Kawasaki’s site at garage.com.
